Yessenia, CRDH

Yessenia was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and moved to Fort Myers while in high school where she met her husband. She says she is blessed to be raising their two young children, Alexandra, and Benjamin. They enjoy spending time outdoors as a family. The philosophy of maintaining total body health was what made her career choice of dental hygiene the perfect match; she explains that total body wellness starts with good oral health. Yessenia enjoys educating her patients to help them reach these goals. She is a Florida Southwestern State College graduate and was their clinical instructor for five years. She is studying for her master’s degree in dental hygiene. Yessenia is inspired by those who always have a positive mindset. She quotes Thomas Edison, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always try just one more time.” What does Yessenia love about working at Mitchell Dentistry? She loves being part of a dental team that makes high standards of care for patients a top priority. She is proud to work here knowing patients receive excellent dental care.
