Keep Calm & Clean On

Mar 11 • 1 minute read

As always, our Mitchell Dentistry team wants to be proactive in addressing any concerns you may have. We are paying close attention to the developments surrounding Coronavirus, and we are checking in for CDC updates on a daily basis so that we continue to be a trusted healthcare resource for our patients.

We recognize the serious nature of the recent spread of the Coronavirus, and we want to make sure you are aware of the vigilant and consistent safety protocols at Mitchell Dentistry.

Sterilization & Disinfecting
For decades, our practice has been known for the highest standards when it comes to equipment sterilization and office disinfection procedures. We continue to be vigilant on these measures, above and beyond the standard requirements, to ensure that our offices are safe and clean.

Patient Care
Patient care is our top priority. Our doctors and staff wear face masks and gloves to protect our patients and to protect ourselves. If a staff member is exhibiting influenza-like symptoms, we ask them to stay at home. If patients are suffering from flu-like symptoms, we ask them to reschedule their appointments so that we can protect our other patients and our staff. Proper hand washing is a given.

Listening & Educating
The ADA (American Dental Association) has published guidelines from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) for dentists to follow. Mitchell Dentistry has already been following these health and safety protocols, through every type of flu epidemic over the decades, and we will continue to do so.

Our staff is up to speed on the latest news from the CDC, and we are happy to answer any questions you might have about how we are protecting patients and staff.

Above all, we wish to assure our patients that we are monitoring the situation, listening to our patients’ concerns, and we are available to answer your questions. In the meantime, we continue to sterilize, disinfect, and exceed the standards for cleanliness and safety.

All the best,

Dr. Jim, Dr. Yolanda, Dr. Joe, and Dr. Helen
